Dozens were injured, including the Palestine TV crew, amidst severe asphyxiation due to the Israeli occupation forces against the march in support of Bil'in. September 9/9/2011

Bil'in - Ramallah: The Palestine TV crew was hit, along with dozens of citizens and foreign activists this Friday, with severe asphyxiation from inhaling tear gas and smoke from the burning olive trees. This happened during Bil'in's weekly march against the settlements and the apartheid wall. The march was also in support of development this September of the activities of the national campaign for Palestine to become the 194th nation.
The Israeli soldiers fired bullets and tear gas canisters at the participants upon arrival to the liberated territories near the new separation wall This wounded Fadwa Barghouti, a member of the Revolutionary Council, and Haroon Amayreh and Fadi Jayyousi of Palestine TV. It also impacted dozens of citizens of Bil'in, Israeli peace activists and foreign activists with severe asphyxia and burned areas planted with olive trees.

Participating in the march called by the Popular Committee Against the Wall and Settlements in Bil'in were Comrade Ramzi Rabah, member of the politburo of the Democratic Front, and Abbas Ghoneim, a member of the Revolutionary Council of Fatah. Also in attendance were Fadwa Barghouti, Ahmed Assaf (coordinator of the National Campaign for Palestine State 194), Abdel-Moneim Wahdan, Hassan Faraj, and Hassan Balawi of the National Campaign for Palestine State 194, Kamal Ali Mohamed (secretary of the party delegation in Ramallah and Al Bireh), citizens of Bil'in, Israeli peace activists, and foreign activists.
The participants raised Palestinian flags and banners with '194 is a State of Palestine' and 'Palestine is the key to peace' written on them. They also raised banners of yellow with pictures of Marwan Barghouti while they marched along the village streets chanting slogans calling for national unity. They confirmed the need to uphold the principles of Palestinian resistance to occupation, called for the release of all prisoners and freedom for Palestine, and shouted "194 is a state of Palestine.
The Popular Committee Against the Wall and Settlements in Bil'in called on the sons of the Palestinian people in the homeland, the diaspora, and the Arab, Islamic, and free world to march on 21/9/2011 in support of the activities of the national campaign: Palestine state 194, to end the occupation and establish a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
