Friday of Loyalty to the Martyrs.
A citizen of Bil'in was injured while dozens of others suffered asphyxiation due to poisonous gas in the village of Bil'in, west of Ramallah.
Issa Mahmoud Abu Rahma, a 41 year old resident of Bil'in, was wounded on his right hand by a tear gas canister, in addition to dozens of cases of asphyxiation for the protesters participating in the weekly march organized by the Popular Committee Against theWall and Settlements in Bil'in. Dozens of Palestinian, international, and Israeli peace activists participated in this week's march.
The march began after Friday prayers starting from the centre of the village and heading towards the land that has been revitalized. Upon reaching the land, the participants of the march raised Palestinian flags and a large banner painted with the image of the martyrs Basem and Jawaher Abu Rahma, as well as patriotic slogans and pictures of the prisoners. They chanted national slogans calling for the end of the occupation and the destruction of the apartheid wall.The protesters also called on Palestinians to remain faithful to the constants of Palestine and called for freedom for all prisoners.
When the participants arrived at the Abu Lemon preserve they managed to remove some of the barbed wire and iron. After this, the soldiers who were behind the concrete wall fired canisters of gas as well as rubber-coated bullets. This excessive use of force resulted in the injury to Issa Abu Rahma and the asphyxiation of dozens of protesters. Following these events clashes broke out between the participants and the Israeli soldiers behind the wall during which participants threw stones at the.

Arrest of a citizen and injury of dozens of protesters by tear gas suffocation in the village of Bil'in west of Ramallah
Occupation forces arrested the citizen Ashraf Ibrahim Abu Rahma (30 ) from the village of Bil'in, and dozens of demonstrators were suffocated during the weekly march organized by the Popular Committee Against the Wall and Settlements in Bil'in, with the participation of dozens of Palestinians , international activists and Israeli peace activists.
The march began after Friday prayers from the center of the village heading to the land that was liberated where participants raised Palestinian and Libyan flags and patriotic slogans.They also carried posters of images of prisoners, and chanted the national call for the departure of the occupation and destruction of the apartheid wall. They also called for Palestinian rights and the freedom of all prisoners.
Upon the arrival of participants in the protected natural reserve of Abu Limon, the soldiers fired dense tear gas from behind the concrete wall toward the participants, using rubber-coated metal bullets, leading to suffocation of scores of participants with poison gas. Clashes broke out between the participants and soldiers of the occupation, during which participants threw stones at the soldiers. Tear gas caused the fields adjacent to the wall and the protected natural Abu Limon to catch fire , which led to the burning of dozens of olive and oak trees. The soldiers pursued the demonstrators through the olive fields and arrested Bil'in citizen Ashraf abu Rahma who was standing peacefully with his flag.

Dozens teargassed in weekly demonstration in Bil'in:

Palestinians and international and Israel activists marched this week in solidarity with Palestinian prisoners on
hunger strike, and in celebration of the olive harvest.

 Demonstrators were fired at with tear gas in the weekly march organized by the Popular Committee Against the Wall and Settlements in Bil'in, which was attended by dozens of Palestinians and international and Israeli peace activists.
The march began from the center of the village after Friday prayers, and headed to the land that was liberated in June with the removal of the separation fence. Participants raised Palestinian flags and banners with images of Palestinian prisoners. They chanted patriotic slogans calling for the departure of the occupation, the destruction of the Apartheid wall, and freedom and rights for Palestinian prisoners.
After arriving at the Abu Lemon protected area adjacent to the wall, demonstrators tried to access an olive tree standing between the barbed wire fence and the wall in order to harvest its olives and show solidarity with the farmers of Bil'in. In response, occupation forces stationed behind the concrete wall fired tear gas toward the participants, asphyxiating many of them and preventing them from accessing the tree. Participants then threw stones over the wall. The heat of the gas canisters ignited fires on the lands adjacent to the wall, but the demonstrators were able to control and extinguish the fire.

07/10/2011 Bil'in-Palestine Dozens tear gassed at weekly demonstration in Bil'in, west of Ramallah.

Demonstrators were fired at with tear gas in the weekly march organized by the Popular Committee Against the Wall and Settlements in Bil'in, which was attended by dozens of Palestinians and a small group of international activists and Israeli peace activists. 
 The march began from the center of the village after Friday prayers, and headed to the land that was liberated in June when the separation fence was removed. Participants raised Palestinian flags, banners painted with the image of imprisoned leader Marwan Barghouti and other Palestinian prisoners. They chanted patriotic slogans calling for the departure of the occupation, the destruction of the Apartheid wall, and freedom and rights for Palestinian prisoners. Participants chained their hands together as a message to friends of peace, to call attention to the abysmal conditions faced by Palestinians in Israeli prisons.
 
Upon their arrival to the Abu Lemon natural reserve, they were able to open many holes in the barbed wire fence surrounding the concrete wall, and then they demonstrated along the concrete wall, while the Israeli Occupation forces stationed behind the wall fired tear gas towards the participants and the TV crew from the Palestine Broadcasting Corporation, which was covering the event. Following the barrage of tear gas, participants threw stones over the wall. The tear gas canisters ignited a fire in the olive groves adjacent to the wall, but the participants were able to control and extinguish the fire.
