March in Solidarity with Jerusalem .

Dozens of cases  of suffocation were reported by demonstrators at the weekly march in solidarity with Jerusalem. The march was organized by the Popular Committee Against the Wall and Settlements in Bil'in.   Dozens of Palestinians, international activists,  and Israeli peace activists were present in protest against the arbitrary measures pursued by the occupation, in which to people of Jerusalem and its environs are being displaced.  Despite heavy rains  the march began after Friday prayers from the center of the village toward to land that was recently returned. Participants raised Palestinian flags and chanted national slogans calling for the departure of the occupation and the destruction of the apartheid wall. Upon arrival to the protected area, Abu Limon, occupation forces stationed behind the concrete wall fired tear gas and rubber bullets, as well as sound bombs. Waste water, mixed with chemicals, was also sprayed in large quantities towards the activists, which led to the suffocation. Dozens of participants were treated with poison gas on site by Palestinian Red Crescent ambulance  teams. Despite the violent confrontation, protesters succeeded in penetrating the barb wire fence at the foot of the wall.
