A young man was injured and dozens of people suffered tear gas poisoning during the weekly demonstration in Bil'in .

A young man was injured by a rubber bullet. In addition there were  dozens of cases of asphyxia in the weekly march organized by the Popular Committee Against the Wall and Settlements in Bil'in. Dozens of Palestinians, dozens of international activists, and Israeli peace activists took part in the demonstration.
Despite the heat, and the fasting month of Ramadan  the march began after Friday prayers from the center of the village heading to the land that was recently liberated in particular the Abu Lemon nature reserve. The participants waved Palestinian flags and chanted calling for the departure of the occupation, the destruction of the apartheid wall of Palestine, and full recognition of the rights of the Palestinian people.
When the demonstrators arrived at the wall the Israeli army stationed on and behind the wall they fired many rounds of tear gas to disperse the demonstrators . They also fired live rounds into the air and some rubber bullets one of which hit 19 year old Abdul Basit Abu Rahma . Some fires were started among the olive trees. As the marchers walked along in front of the concrete wall some of
them were able to uproot some of the metal posts which hold the barbed wire in place.
