The anniversary 18 of the Ibrahimi Mosque massacre

Dozens of injuries from cases of severe tear gas inhalation in the village of Bil'in west of Ramallah.
Dozens were Wounded in cases of suffocation by tear gas in the weekly march which was organized by the Popular Committee Against the Wall in Bil'in, this march came a revival of the resistance week of the Israeli apartheid against the Palestinian people , as well as supporting the Palestinian prisoners, and the anniversary 18 of the Ibrahimi Mosque massacre, the march including participation of a delegation from the Arab Palestinian Liberation Front  from Ramallah represented by Salim Hamdan and Khalid Sakr, a French delegation, a Belgian delegation, people of Bil'in , Israeli and international peace activists.

  The march began after Friday prayers from the center of the village heading to the land which was liberated last June, participants raised Palestinian flags and banners of the Palestinian movements, some of participants wore  masks on their heads colored with Palestinian flag, they chanted slogans calling for national unity , slogans calling to the departure of the occupation , destruction of the apartheid wall ,   calling for freedom of Palestinian prisoners and they called the Muslims, Arabs as well as Palestinians to support Jerusalem and al aqsa mosque.
Upon the arrival to Abu Lemon area the participants were able to cut the barbed wire  and to break through it, then the soldiers Who were situated  behind the concrete wall shot rubber bullets , stun grenades and tear gas density toward the participants, television crews (specially Palestine TV crew) and ambulance,  which resulted the injury of dozens of protesters  cases of suffocation, then some of the youth threw stones to the soldiers.

For its part,  the Popular Committee Against the Wall in Bil'in denounced the enter of  the occupation forces and settlers to  al-Aqsa mosque  and called on Muslims , Arabs and
Palestinians to immediately intervene against these schemes.

Friday demonstration in support of prisoners.

Dozens of injuries from cases of severe tear gas inhalation in the village of Bil'in west of Ramallah.
Dozens were wounded in cases of suffocation by tear gas in the weekly march which was organized by the Popular Committee Against the Wall and Settlements in Bil'in. The march commemorated the seventh anniversary of the popular resistance in Bil'in and the start of the eighth year, as well as supporting the Palestinian prisoners, especially the sixty-two day hunger strike of the captive Sheikh Khader Adnan. The participants included Qais Abdel Karim, a Palestinian Legislative Council member from the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, the Secretary General of the Palestine Liberation Front Wasel Abu Yousef, Secretary General of the Arab Liberation Front Jamil Shehadeh, Political Bureau of the Palestine Liberation Front member Hisham Abu Raya, Amin Shuman and Issam Baker from the Higher Committee for prisoners' cases, the Coordinator of the High Follow-up popular resistance Naim Marar. The march drew its participants from a wide range of Palestinian national parties, as well as populations from the neighbouring villages and members of the Popular Committees in the governorate of Ramallah and Al Bireh. As usual, inhabitants of Bil'in as well as Israeli and international peace activists joined the protest.

The march began from the center of the village after Friday prayers, heading to land which was liberated last June. Participants raised Palestinian flags, pictures of the captive Khader Adnan, banners draw with pictures of the captive leader Marwan Barghouti and banners of the various factions. Some of the participants had costumed themselves as Sheikh Khader Adnan, their hands and feet shackled, while others were dressed as Israeli Prison Services (known as 'Alchaabas'). Many put masks of the image of Sheikh Adnan on their faces or masks in the colours of the Palestinian flag. They chanted slogans calling for national unity, the end of the occupation, destruction of the apartheid wall and calling for freedom of Palestinian prisoners and the internationalization of their case.

Upon the arrival of the procession at the 'Abu Lemon' protected area, some of the participants succeeded in breaking through the barbed wire, while many climbed the concrete wall and waved Palestinian flags atop it. Others painted pictures of Khader Adnan and glued big banners depicting him onto the wall. The Israeli soldiers, who were on the other side of the wall, fired rubber-coated steel bullets, stun grenades and copious quantities of tear gas toward the participants, which resulted in dozens of cases of suffocation among the participants. Some protesters then threw stones towards the soldiers.

For its part, the Popular Committee Against the Wall in Bil'in denounced the continued detention of Sheikh Khader Adnan, and held the occupation government fully responsible for his life. It emphasized its full solidarity with the captive Adnan and with all prisoners, and also called on civil society organizations, humanitarian institutions, local and international human rights organizations to immediately intervene to save his life and compel the Israeli government to release him and all prisoners, to end its policy of administrative detention, and stop abuses against Palestinian prisoners.

Outside the village, the Israeli occupation forces announced Bil'in as a closed military zone, set up checkpoints around and prevented hundreds of Israeli peace activists, international activists and Palestinians from other villages from participating in the march.

Friday of solidarity with Palestinian prisoners .

 Dozens were tear gassed in weekly demonstration in village of Bil'in, west of Ramallah.
 Dozens of demonstrators were Wounded cases of suffocation by poison gas in the weekly march ,which organized by the Popular Committee Against the Wall and settlements in Bil'in, which comes on the occasion of the hunger strike of the prisoner, Al Sheikh Khader Adnan for 49 days, until now, and supporting for all Palestinian prisoners, The march was attended by dozens of Palestinians , international and Israeli peace activists.

The march began after Friday prayers from the center of the village, and headed to the land that was liberated recently,   Participants raised Palestinian flags and banners with images of Palestinian prisoners. They chanted patriotic slogans calling for the departure of the occupation, destruction of the Apartheid wall, freedom and rights for Palestinian prisoners.
 Upon the arrival to Abu Lemon protected area, which adjacent to the wall, some of the participants were able to cut and remove some of  the barbed wire , burned  tires beside the apartheid wall, one of them climbed the wall and raised Palestinian flag on the concrete wall, while dozens of settlers and  Israeli soldiers we watching ,  then the soldiers Who were behind the concrete wall shot rubber bullets , stun grenades, dense tear gas  and skunk water  towards the participants, which led to the injury of dozens of  cases of suffocation, all of them were treated in the field by ambulance crews.

A journalist was injured and dozens of cases of asphyxiation with poison gas in the village of Bil'in.west of Ramallah.

A journalist was injured and dozens of cases of asphyxiation with poison gas in the village of Bil'in.west of Ramallah.
The journalist Mohib Barghouthi (45 year) was wounded today with two rubber bullets In both legs, as well as Dozens of cases of suffocation in the weekly march which organized by the Popular Committee Against the Wall and Settlements in Bil'in. Dozens of Palestinians, international activists, and Israeli peace activists were participated this demonstration .
Despite the bad weather the march began after Friday prayers from the center of the village toward to the land that was returned a few months ago, Participants raised Palestinian flags and the yellow banners which painted with the image of the captive leader Marwan Barghouti, and they chanted national slogans calling for the departure of the occupation , the destruction of the apartheid wall and calling for freedom of Palestinian political prisoners .
Upon the arrival of participants to Abu Limon area, some of the participants were able to cut and remove some of the barbed wire, occupation forces stationed behind the concrete wall fired tear gas and rubber bullets, as well as sound bombs. Waste water, mixed with chemicals, was also sprayed in large quantities towards the activists, which led to the injury of the journalist Barghouti who was transferred to the Palestine Medical Complex for treatment, and to the suffocation of dozens of participants, all of them were treated with poison gas on site by Palestinian Red Crescent ambulance teams.

A citizen was injured as well as dozens others that were tear gassed by Israeli Soldiers in the village of Bil'in, west of Ramallah
A (24 year old) Mohammed Khalil Abu Rahma was shot with a rubber bullet
in the left thigh as well as dozens of protesters were suffering with tear gas
choking in the weekly march which organized by the Popular Committee Against the Wall and Settlements in Bil'in in solidarity with the prisoners, specially the activist from Bil'in, Ashraf Abu Rahma. Dozens of Palestinian , international and Israeli peace activists participated the demonstration.
The march began after Friday prayers from the center of the village headed to the land near the wall, Participants raised Palestinian flags ,the yellow banners which painted with the image of the prisoner leader Marwan Barghouti and pictures of the prisoner, Ashraf Abu Rahma, who was sentenced by Israeli military court last week with six months and a half and 3000 NIS in addition to six months suspended for three years.
The participants chanted the national slogans which calling for the departure of the occupation ,destruction of the apartheid wall and also calling for freedom of the prisoners.
Upon the arrival of participants to Abu Limon area , one of the participant was able to break through the barbed wire and draw the flag of Palestine on the concrete wall and he wrote patriotic slogans which are calling for the departure of the occupation and its settlers from the land of Palestine. The occupation soldiers who stationed behind the concrete wall fired tear gas , sound bombs , rubber bullets, and they sprayed waste water mixed with chemicals towards the participants, which resulted the injury of a citizen, in addition of dozens of participants .

Solidarity with the prisoner Ashraf Abu Rahma .

Today on the 15th of January 2012, the Israeli Occupation Court in Ofer prison sentenced the activist Ashraf Abu Rahma, who is already been hold in prison for three month, to 6 months and a half to prison as well as to pay a fine of 3000 thousands NIS. Furthermore, for the next three years, Ashraf is getting suspended to join the nonviolent demonstrations in Bilin. In case of non-compliance, he will be sentenced to an other 6 month in prison.

March in Solidarity with Jerusalem .


Dozens of cases  of suffocation were reported by demonstrators at the weekly march in solidarity with Jerusalem. The march was organized by the Popular Committee Against the Wall and Settlements in Bil'in.   Dozens of Palestinians, international activists,  and Israeli peace activists were present in protest against the arbitrary measures pursued by the occupation, in which to people of Jerusalem and its environs are being displaced.  Despite heavy rains  the march began after Friday prayers from the center of the village toward to land that was recently returned. Participants raised Palestinian flags and chanted national slogans calling for the departure of the occupation and the destruction of the apartheid wall. Upon arrival to the protected area, Abu Limon, occupation forces stationed behind the concrete wall fired tear gas and rubber bullets, as well as sound bombs. Waste water, mixed with chemicals, was also sprayed in large quantities towards the activists, which led to the suffocation. Dozens of participants were treated with poison gas on site by Palestinian Red Crescent ambulance  teams. Despite the violent confrontation, protesters succeeded in penetrating the barb wire fence at the foot of the wall.
